Pottery for Beginners +

We offer an excellent class that cover all the basics of hand and wheel thrown pottery. These are suitable for beginners and those who want to learn more - you can continue to expand your knowledge until you are ready to do your own thing. 

Our tutor is Lorraine Barnett who has vast experience in tutoring and making her own beautiful pottery. 

The pottery facilities at the centre have been recently upgraded offering more space and both gas and electirc kilns.

For health and safety reasons all pottery classes and groups are limited to those 18 years or older

Prices

$200 per term (+ a small individual fee for clay and firing)

Note to attend classes you are required to be a member of the centre.

Membership for the 2026 year is $50.
